Collection: Footrests

Ergonomic footrests are made to help with posture, comfort, and for some individuals general health when sitting for extended periods of time.

Standard desk and chair designs are not always suitable for everyone, particularly shorter individuals. A footrest provides a practical solution by enabling shorter users to position their feet comfortably, whilst sitting with their hips slightly above their knees. This adjustment ensures proper ergonomic alignment of the spine, hips, and knees, supporting the spine’s natural curve and reducing lower back strain.

Additionally, blood flow can be impeded by sitting with feet hanging off a chair, as this can cause pressure on the back of the legs. Elevating the feet reduces the incidence of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and varicose veins while also improving circulation.
